Oleksandr Usyk has put his name among the boxing greats after his Wembley knockout.

His win against Daniel Dubois secured him his third career undisputed title in his second weight class.

A second win over Dubois has given the Ukrainian the honour of being mentioned with Muhammad Ali and a whole host of other heavyweight legends.

While some will be hesitant to put him in the echelons of history, it is clear that beating each opponent at heavyweight twice, including Tyson Fury, makes him undeniable.

Roy Jones Jr believes people are ‘crazy’ not to see Oleksandr Usyk as an all-time great heavyweight

This is a feeling shared by Roy Jones Jr, who gushed over the prowess of ‘The Cat’.

Usyk has one fight left and Jones Jr believes only Joseph Parker deserves the honour of testing himself against the modern heavyweight king.

Speaking to SecondsOut, Jr relayed the achievements of the champion.

He said: “In history, he would be a good fighter, a great fighter actually, because he dominated two weight divisions, and to be honest with you, you can’t say where he would be because he has done some remarkable things.

“Dominated a very, very classified cruiserweight division, then he came up and dominated the heavyweights after that.”

The cruiserweight run took place under the World Boxing Super Series banner, where he outclassed incredible cruiserweight talent such as Marius Breidis and Murat Gassiev to become undisputed.

‘Superman’ Jones didn’t stop there with his love for the heavyweight, placing him high up in the all-time conversation.

“To say that you won’t put him amongst the greats, then you are crazy… it would’ve been good to see him back in the day with the guys who had the wits and the power,” he explained.

“I think I rank him definitely amongst the top ten of all-time, but maybe amongst the top five.”

Undisputed heavyweight icon Lennox Lewis firmly believes Moses Itauma will succeed Oleksandr Usyk

If there was anyone to predict the heavyweight division’s successor, it would be Britain’s only undisputed heavyweight champion.

Lewis recently spoke to the media regarding who he feels can take over, and the 20-year-old sensation came to mind.

He said: “We’ve got a lot of heavyweights and great fighters coming out of Britain right now. Moses is definitely one of them.”

“Itauma is the next coming.”

Fans will find out just how good Moses Itauma is when he faces a domestic heavyweight staple in Dillian Whyte on August 16th.
