Carl Froch never holds back on his opinion of fighters and Tyson Fury’s recent comments have been no exception.
The Gypsy King has been in the spotlight this week for his potential u-turn on retirement to mixed fan reaction.
But Tyson Fury has set his sights back on former foe Oleksandr Usyk, who is just two weeks shy of an undisputed defence against Daniel Dubois.

Froch is no stranger to taking aim at heavyweights after he contradicted past comments on Anthony Joshua recently.
Froch calls out ‘moaning’ Fury for comments on Usyk losses
The ‘Cobra’ shared his frustrations over the former WBC champion complaining his losses to Usyk were not fair.
In a video posted to X, he said: “I’ve just been reading about him b- – – – ing and moaning about losing to Usyk, talking about he wants a fair shake.
“He boxed him in the first fight and was lucky not to get chinned end of round nine. The referee basically jumped in and saved him. Then he gets the rematch, and loses again.
“There’s no shame in losing to Oleksandr Usyk, he’s one of the best to do it. But don’t come out now when you’re retired and say you want a fair go, fair judging. You got a fair shake.
“You’re good, but you’re not as good as you think you are.”
After media duties in Turkey, Turki Alashikh called the fighter to confirm a trilogy showdown in Wembley in a post shared to social media.
He ended the post by giving his short prediction on how a third encounter would go if it was to transpire.
He said: “He’s done you twice, and he’ll do you for a third time.”
Tyson Fury is potentially coming out of his fifth retirement in 12 years
Following news the Morecambe boxer is looking to come back in the ring after retiring six months ago, it is not the first time he has made the announcement.
In 2013, he called time on the sport after a second cancellation of an anticipated David Haye clash.
Three years later, he had his most famous retirement following the collapse of the Klitschko rematch.
While many have been short-lived, it was his 2022 exit that saw him KO Dillian Whyte in April but return from his hiatus in December to stop Derek Chisora.
It is unknown whether a concrete plan is in place for 2026, but if Tyson’s career is anything to go by, who knows?
