Conor Benn has called out multiple fighters since losing in April, even labelling some adversaries ‘track stars’.
After his loss to Chris Eubank Jr at 160 pounds at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Benn has turned his attention to opponents down at welterweight.
The 28-year-old Benn has called out Rolly Romero and Pacquiao or Barrios for world title fights in a division he has not fought in for three years.
This is despite the ‘Destroyer’ having a rematch on the cards with Eubank Jr, who some, including Carl Frampton, believe will struggle with the weight again.
Devin Haney blasts Conor Benn for comments and says Ryan Garcia is a ‘bigger’ fight
Now, the Londoner has tried to goad Devin Haney and Shakur Stevenson into fights by labelling them ‘track stars’ for running in the ring.
In a recent interview, he responded: “We know Conor Benn lost his last fight, so he got unfinished business over there he needs to take care of.
“He lost his last fight, so I don’t really care about him right now.”
Haney isn’t keen on a fight with the Brit, with the ‘Dream’ lined up to fight Brian Norman Jr for the WBO welterweight belt.
Instead, he believes a similar opponent to Benn would be a ‘bigger’ fight anyway.
“If I want to go fight a PED cheater and a guy who lost his last fight, I might as well go fight Ryan Garcia, right?” he exclaimed.
“If that’s the case, the bigger fight is Ryan Garcia.”
The American had fought Garcia and lost the fight on the night, but the result was overturned due to ‘King Ry’ failing a drug test.

While the former undisputed champion has not officially fought at welterweight yet, he still has more world championship experience than the Tony Sims-trained fighter.
Benn is yet to win a world title or even a British title at any weight but before his positive drugs test scandal, he had fought some established opposition.
He beat Samuel Vargas, Chris Van Heerden, and Chris Algieri all inside the distance to retain a WBA ranking belt.
The most memorable finish, of course, was his knockout of Algieri with a straight 1-2 down the pipe to finish the former world champion.
However, all of those finishes came three years ago and have yet to stop any of his opponents since the fallout of the Eubank fight in 2022.
While he now has a huge name in boxing, it remains to be seen exactly how high his ceiling is and if any of the championship-calibre opposition feel the need to fight him other than for money.
