Conor Benn has outlined his ‘dream’ plans, which include two current world champions, but not a Ryan Garcia mega-fight.
Following his defeat to Chris Eubank Jr, the 28-year-old has been focused on securing a rematch of their lauded first encounter.
Benn has a second fight with Eubank Jr pencilled in for September 20th, with the bout heavily anticipated by boxing fans.
But Eubank Jr will feel he has earned a huge fight if the rematch falls through, and the ‘Destroyer’ is still looking ahead to one of his own.
Benn targets world champion Rolly Romero and winner of Barrios vs Pacquiao
Asked in Turkey during the IBA Pro event on Wednesday, the welterweight was quick to dismiss King Ry and instead call out current world champions.
He said: “No, because he lost. I see Rolly Romero here in Turkey, that is a fight I would definitely like down the line.
“If I can get the winner of Barrios vs Pacquiao, win the WBC world title, then unify with Rolly, then that would be a dream.”
Romero dropped and won a unanimous decision over the 26-year-old American in Times Square last May.
The Englishman’s reasons against targeting the money fight are clear, with the Londoner echoing the sentiments of a legend who advised Ryan Garcia to take a year off.
“It’s a huge fight, he just lost, he just got battered and he has got his own things to sort out,” Benn said.
“So he needs to do a lot of self-care rather than me going ‘listen it is a money fight’, he needs to sort himself out first before he goes near a ring.”
He made clear that if ‘£15 million’ was offered, he would take the contest, but money is ‘only motivation’.

On Saturday evening, Benn made an appearance at another boxing event, this time in Manchester for Jack Catterall vs Harlem Eubank.
Catterall brought in the star to inspect the hand wraps of Eubank Jr’s cousin before their bout on Saturday.
He taunted Harlem by saying it was the ‘most promo’ he has gotten all week during the build-up.
The pair fought to a contentious technical decision, which the Chorley fighter won, after a clash of heads led to the referee stopping the contest.
It just goes to show the Benn vs Eubank feud continues to run deep, no matter the arena.
