The second round of the FedEx Cup playoffs takes place at the BMW Championship, as the top golfers on the PGA Tour tee off in Maryland.
Masters champion Rory McIlroy makes his return to the PGA Tour after skipping the FedEx St. Jude, which was won by Justin Rose in a three-hole playoff against JJ Spaun.
Tommy Fleetwood and world number one Scottie Scheffler look to bounce back after disappointing results in Memphis. Fleetwood was leading late on Sunday, but missed out on his first PGA Tour win once again. Meanwhile, U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley hopes to retain his 2024 title.

Which course is the BMW Championship played at?
The 2025 BMW Championship will be played at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland. The course is a 7,226 yard par 70 at the championship.
Caves Valley requires accuracy. The tree-lined course has tight fairways, small greens and water hazards on several holes.
It last hosted the BMW Championship in 2021, where Bryson DeChambeau set the course record with a round of 60.

Which players will feature at the 2025 BMW Championship?
The top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings after the FedEx St. Jude Championship qualify for this event. However, 49 golfers will start this week after Sepp Straka’s withdrawal.
McIlroy, whose full focus is on the Ryder Cup, will play at the BMW after missing the St. Jude last week. As will Rose and Fleetwood, the other two confirmed members of Europe’s Ryder Cup team for New York.
Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele are among the big American names competing this weekend. Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are paired together for the first two days of action.
