Novak Djokovic continued his fine form against compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic in the third round of Wimbledon.
Djokovic lost just seven games on Centre Court in a supreme straight sets victory against the World No. 49.
It continued Djokovic’s remarkable run at this year’s Wimbledon and the Serbian will play Alex De Minaur in the fourth round.
The World No. 6 revealed a strange occurrence in his Wimbledon match with Kecmanovic, one that had never previously happened before in his career.

Novak Djokovic was not supported by Davis Cup captain at Wimbledon
Djokovic found himself up against a familiar foe in fellow Serbian Kecmanovic, who is coached by Serbia’s Davis Cup captain, Viktor Troicki.
Troicki and Djokovic often lined up together in Davis Cup action, and now he is coached by the veteran on international duty.
Djokovic revealed this was the first time ever that Troicki had been at a match and not supported the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
“His coach, Viktor Troicki is here. He’s our Davis Cup captain,” said Djokovic to the BBC after confirming his place in round four of Wimbledon.
“This was the first time I’ve played in my life with Viktor sitting in the opposite box,” continued the Serbian. “It was a strange feeling, but hopefully it never happens again.”
Troicki and Djokovic often met on the ATP Tour, with the current Serbian Davis Cup captain winning just one of their 14 matches together.
Novak Djokovic will likely have to defeat three Grand Slam champions to win Wimbledon
Should Djokovic navigate his way past De Minaur in round four, he will have to defeat three greats of the game to claim his 25th Grand Slam title.
After dispatching Jack Draper in the second round, it’s looking increasingly likely that Djokovic will play Marin Cilic in the quarterfinals.
Cilic is a former US Open champion and even reached the Wimbledon final in 2017. The Croatian was in incredible form and will take some beating by Djokovic.
Then, the unenviable task of World No. 1 Jannik Sinner awaits for Djokovic in the semi-final if he beats Cilic.
Sinner is yet to drop a set at Wimbledon and is quietly going about his business at the London tournament.
If Djokovic defeats those two giants of the game, it will likely be the small task of Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
