Hulk Hogan’s final-ever professional wrestling match surprisingly didn’t take place within the confines of WWE.

Hogan’s legendary WWE run was followed by a brief stint as a performer and backstage member in smaller company, TNA.

Hogan wrestled five matches for the company between 2010 and 2012, including his final match in front of the TV cameras in 2011.

Despite nearly pushing sixty, Hogan impressed fans with an excellently entertaining bout one final time.

Hulk Hogan’s 2011 retirement match outside of WWE entertained fans

Despite his age, fans were incredibly impressed by what Hogan managed in the middle of the ring at TNA Bound for Glory in 2011.

Sting defeated Hogan in his final match, but what happened after the bell has truly stuck with wrestling fans.

Hogan turned babyface by helping Sting in a beat-down and got to leave as a good guy one final time in his career.

“Hulk Hogan really knew how to get the crowd going,” said one fan on CageMatch about his Bound for Glory bout.

Another said: “Even at 58-years-old Hogan knew how to explode the crowd,” while one wrote: “Great moment at the end with Hogan turning face once again, which really seals the deal.”

Hogan would wrestle two more times at TNA house shows in the UK a year later, but his Bound for Glory bout was his true swansong.

What are some of Hulk Hogan’s best ever matches?

Hogan’s decades in the industry have provided some of the greatest moments in professional wrestling history.

The star’s early WrestleMania matches against Andre the Giant and The Ultimate Warrior will live long in the memory for several fans.

Likewise, his comeback in the early 2000s was an incredible moment for the Hulkster. Many fans, wrestlers, and pundits name The Rock vs Hogan at WrestleMania 18 as the best match of all time.

Hogan has left an indelible mark on the professional wrestling industry as arguably its most popular ever WWE star.
