Chris Jericho has dropped another tease about a dramatic return to WWE, seven years after his last appearance.

Jericho’s time in WWE was lucrative, but he’s spent the past five years as one of the stars of Tony Khan’s AEW.

The AEW star is one of the most popular stars of the Attitude Era, and would surely be welcomed back to WWE with open arms.

The former Undisputed Champion has dropped a major tease about returning to the company where he made his name.

Chris Jericho sparks speculation after posting WWE return on social media

Jericho is clearly well aware of the speculation surrounding his future as he’s joined in the fun with a far from subtle post on TikTok.

Y2J posted his 2013 Royal Rumble return to his social media, which saw him return to WWE after a five-month hiatus.

Jericho entered as the number two entrant for WWE’s legendary stipulation, much to the surprise of Dolph Ziggler.

That run kicked off Jericho’s last run with WWE before he left the company to wrestle for New Japan and AEW.

The star could be set for a dramatic return to WWE, however, with another surprise Royal Rumble appearance touted.

A WWE return would be perfect for Chris Jericho

It’s fair to say Jericho’s final year with AEW was far from a success, with fans growing tired of the star’s presence on the show.

A new change for Jericho in WWE would be the perfect closing chapter for the icon, and give him the chance for one final run.

He wouldn’t have to wrestle as much, and he could finally be given his long-awaited WWE Hall of Fame induction.

A short and sweet run with WWE would be perfect for Jericho in 2026.
