CM Punk’s plans for Clash in Paris were revealed on WWE Raw as he continues his quest for gold.

Punk will challenge Seth Rollins at WWE Clash in Paris, alongside Jey Uso and LA Knight in a Fatal Four-Way match.

The Best in the World is on the hunt for the World Heavyweight Championship he lost in just five minutes at SummerSlam.

His Fatal Four-Way match at Clash in Paris will see him doing something he hasn’t done in WWE since 2010.

CM Punk hasn’t competed in a World Championship Fatal Four-Way match in WWE since 2010

Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship match against Rollins, Uso, and Knight will be his first for 15 years.

The star has competed in just five Fatal Four-Way matches in his career, with his last coming against Randy Orton, Sheamus, and The Big Show on WWE Raw in 2013.

His last World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four-Way match, however, was three years before that in 2010.

Punk took on Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, and The Big Show at WWE’s 2010 PLE Fatal 4-Way, which saw Mysterio take the title off Swagger.

The Best in the World does have a good record in his four-way matches, though, with three wins out of five in WWE.

CM Punk might not be a fan of four-way matches

Punk has become synonymous with singles bouts since returning to WWE at Survivor Series in 2023, but his lack of four-way matches dates back prior to that too.

The star never competed in a single four-way match during his ill-fated spell in AEW between 2021 and 2023.

It’s well-known that the Best in the World had far more creative control in Tony Khan’s company too, particularly during his run in Collision in 2023.

The star might not be a fan of the stipulation, but he’s about to perform in an incredibly high-profile bout in Paris.
