Karrion Kross confirmed his WWE exit, but many fans and pundits still believe there’s a chance for the star in WWE.

Kross and Scarlett confirmed their WWE exit on August 10 with a YouTube video titled ‘My WWE Contract Ends Today’.

WWE fans believe Kross’ exit could be a work after a couple of clues were dropped, as well as the star facing Sami Zayn at SummerSlam.

The star already opened up about being given a second chance by Triple H in a 2022 interview following his WWE return.

Karrion Kross thanked WWE for his ‘second chance’ in NXT

Kross broke his shoulder against Keith Lee during a WWE NXT match and fully expected that to be the end of his run with the company.

Instead, Kross was given a second bite of the cherry in WWE’s developmental and managed to go on an impressive undefeated streak.

It shocked the star and it’s something he’ll always be thankful for to Triple H and the WWE NXT creative team.

“I was totally blown away with what happened,” said Kross in an interview with Chris Van Vliet after his WWE return.

“They had every single right and reason to do something like that, and it wouldn’t be their fault. But they gave me a second chance, and I have privately thanked them for that. I was very grateful for that.”

Kross made his main roster debut under Vince McMahon, but failed to set alight the main roster scene. He was released in 2022, but was brought back after Triple H took the helm.

What’s next for Karrion Kross?

If Kross’ WWE exit is indeed legitimate, the star will not be hard-pressed to forge a career outside of the company.

The star impressed in TNA and would likely become one of their biggest stars if he returned to the company.

Kross could also head to New Japan Pro Wrestling, a company that is in desperate need of an injection of star power.

Of course, there’s also AEW but it’s unlikely Tony Khan’s company would be the best fit for the former WWE man right now.
