Drew McIntyre didn’t take long to respond to Cody Rhodes getting surprisingly booed on WWE Raw in Birmingham.
WWE Raw fans booed Cody Rhodes during Roman Reigns’ opening segment, despite being the company’s top babyface.
Rhodes is currently on hiatus from WWE, but he’s expected to return in a matter of weeks to face Drew McIntyre for his title.
McIntyre took to social media to share his thoughts about Rhodes getting booed by the English crowd in Birmingham.

Rhodes and McIntyre are expected to face each other at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, and the Scottish Warrior has continued to build their feud online.
After Rhodes was booed on WWE Raw, McIntyre wrote on social media: “You’re really shocked the rest of the world wants to see Homelander defeated? Come on…”
McIntyre has carved out a niche of being funny online during his run with WWE over the past few years, with the likes of CM Punk and Randy Orton getting scorned by the Scot.
McIntyre has not competed for the WWE Championship since losing to Reigns at Clash at the Castle in 2022.
The star did, however, hold the World Heavyweight Championship briefly after winning the belt at WrestleMania 40.

Not content with facing WWE’s biggest star Rhodes for the biggest title in the company, McIntyre also looks set for a match with Orton.
Orton returned to WWE SmackDown to hit McIntyre with an RKO on August 22 edition of the show in Dublin.
The Scottish Warrior said he would give Orton the ‘Old Yeller treatment’ in an X video, implying he wants to retire the star.
McIntyre and Orton have been feuding for much of 2025, including a tag team match at SummerSlam alongside Logan Paul and Jelly Roll.
