WWE Raw returned to the UK for the first time since March with a show at Birmingham’s BP Pulse Arena.
As the march toward WWE Clash in Paris continues, some of the company’s biggest stars appeared to hype up the upcoming French show.
Roman Reigns appeared to build toward his match with Bronson Reed, while Rhea Ripley took on Roxanne Perez.
Here are five things we learned from WWE Raw.

Cody Rhodes gets booed by UK crowd
Reigns opened the show for his first promo segment in WWE since before WrestleMania 41 in April.
Reigns addressed his past few years, including losing his WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes. The Tribal Chief, uttering the American Nightmare’s name, garnered an interesting response from the crowd.
WWE fans loudly booed Rhodes during The Tribal Chief’s promo, which led to Reigns simply saying ‘Interesting’.
This was clearly a way to subtly hint at a third meeting between Reigns and Rhodes, but it will be a surprise to WWE officials.
Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed brawl ahead of WWE Clash in Paris
After Rhodes was booed by the crowd, Reigns was met by Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed, who said they would destroy The Tribal Chief at Clash in Paris.
Reigns invited Reed into the ring to start the fight early, but Reed declined. Reigns brought the fight to the big man outside the ring, which started a brawl between the pair.
Reed looked to have the advantage as he went to hit yet another Tsunami on Reigns, but the star managed to reverse it.
He hit a Superman Punch on his Clash in Paris opponent to stand tall in front of the Birmingham crowd, before they were both separated by security.
Becky Lynch vs Nikki Bella is set for Clash in Paris
After her brief foray to WWE SmackDown in Dublin, Lynch returned to Monday Night Raw no more popular than in her hometown.
Lynch made a point of entering the venue before Nikki Bella, who said she was going to call out the Irish star on the show.
Bella eventually entered after Lynch, calling her a ‘coward’ for ducking her challenge. That got Lynch’s back up and she agreed to a match, but not in Birmingham.
Instead, the two women will collide for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WWE Clash in Paris.
Rhea Ripley defeated Roxanne Perez
Rhea Ripley competed in her first WWE match since April as The Eradicator took on Roxanne Perez in a singles bout.
It was a back-and-forth encounter, but eventually Ripley picked up the win with a Rip Tide on her young opponent.
Raquel Rodriguez and Perez beat down Ripley after the match, which brought out Iyo Sky to make the save.
A tag team between Sky and Ripley would be a great use of them right now, despite Naomi’s pregnancy, and a programme with The Kabuki Warriors could be a lot of fun.
Bron Breakker defeats LA Knight, but CM Punk makes the save
Reigns’ involvement was not done after the opening segment as he attacked Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed ahead of the former’s match with LA Knight in the main event.
The backstage brawl saw Knight jump Breakker and drag him into the arena, and the ring, to start the match.
Knight had the beating of Breakker for much of the match, but eventually the rising star’s power allowed him back into the match.
The Megastar fought back and looked like he might win, but Seth Rollins’ music hit and The Architect made his way to the ring to distract him.
Breakker hit Knight with two Spears thanks to the distraction to pick up the win in the main event. Rollins and Breakker beat down Knight after the bell, which brought out Jey Uso.
Uso attacked Rollins and Breakker, but the numbers advantage allowed the two men to attack Uso.
This brought out CM Punk, who received a monster pop from the Birmingham crowd. The Best in the World attacked Breakker and collided with Rollins in the middle of the ring.
Breakker rescued Rollins from the ring, which left Knight, Uso, and Punk in the middle of the ring. Uso hit a Superkick on Knight, and then shocked Punk with another one to stand tall to end the show.
