John Cena will do something he’s never previously done with his appearance at WWE Clash in Paris.
Cena’s WWE retirement tour has dominated 2025, but the 17-time champion has just four PLE shows left before he hangs up his boots for the last time.
The star will appear at Clash in Paris, Crown Jewel, Survivor Series, and his as-yet-unconfirmed final date in December.
Despite his storied 20-year-plus career, Cena is set to do something he’s never done when he wrestles at WWE Clash in Paris.

John Cena will wrestle his first televised WWE match in France at Clash in Paris
While Cena has appeared in France with WWE several times, the 17-time champion is yet to wrestle in front of the cameras.
The 17-time champion’s last appearance in France came at a WWE house show in 2014, when he defeated Seth Rollins in a Street Fight.
The star has also faced the likes of Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, and Wade Barrett in the country, but every appearance has been a house show.
Cena could face Lesnar at WWE Clash in Paris, but no matter who he faces in France will see him make yet more history.
Should Cena face Lesnar in Paris, it would also be The Beast Incarnate’s first-ever time wrestling in the country.
John Cena is set for three dates on WWE’s European tour
Clash in Paris won’t be Cena’s only stint in Europe as he’s also been confirmed for two other dates around the PLE.
Cena will appear at WWE SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland on August 22, as well as in Lyon, France on August 29.
As yet, Cena is not scheduled to appear on the WWE Raw in France the night after Clash in Paris, with his next date confirmed to be SmackDown in Chicago on September 5.
After WWE’s European tour concludes, Cena will have just five dates left of his retirement tour.
