Logan Paul has taken to professional wrestling like a duck to water, but he’s eyeing up something he’s yet to do in WWE.
Paul has been tipped to become a future WWE Champion after an impressive three-year run that has seen him main event PLEs and win the United States Championship.
The Maverick has wrestled the likes of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso, and recently teamed with John Cena at Money in the Bank.
After a glittering three-year career, The Maverick has revealed an appeal he made to WWE boss Triple H about achieving something new.
Logan Paul wants to wrestle on WWE’s Japan tour
Paul had WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton on his Impaulsive podcast and The Maverick made his next moves in the company known.
The star is desperate to wrestle at WWE’s upcoming Japan tour, which will see the company’s biggest stars appear at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo in October.
During the conversation with Stratton, The Maverick revealed: “I said to Triple H, ‘Book me for the Japan trip.’”
The social media star turned wrestler has appeared at several international shows, including two WWE Championships matches against Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia.
The star also appeared in the 2023 Money in the Bank ladder match at The O2 Arena in London, but he’s yet to compete in Japan.
WWE’s next international show is Clash in Paris at Paris La Défense Arena on August 31, which is set to be Cena’s final time in France.
What’s next for Logan Paul in WWE?
The Maverick has not had a singles feud since a WrestleMania 41 programme with AJ Styles in March and April.
The star has featured in two all-star tag team matches, against Uso and Rhodes, and Jelly Roll and Randy Orton, but the star’s quest for gold could have to wait a while.
With both mid-card titles held by heels currently, with Dominik Mysterio holding the Intercontinental Championship and Solo Sikoa with the United States Championship, there isn’t much room for a feud.
Likewise, new WWE Champion Rhodes has already faced The Maverick for the belt, so that would be an uninspired choice.
