Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have a legendary rivalry inside a WWE ring, but they could be set to square off outside of it for the first time.
Rhodes and Reigns are two of WWE’s biggest stars and they’ve had two iconic matches since the American Nightmare returned to the company in 2022.
The pair clashed in two WrestleMania main event matches, in 2023 and 2024, with each man holding a win over the other.
For the first time ever, their epic WWE rivalry could spill outside of the company after a huge announcement.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have been cast in Street Fighter
Both Reigns and Rhodes have expressed an interest in leaving WWE for Hollywood, with the stars appearing in films already.
Rhodes is set for the new Naked Gun film later this year, while Reigns appeared alongside his cousin The Rock in Fast and Furious 6.
Now, the two men are set to share the screen and there’s every chance they could lock up on the silver screen.
According to Deadline, both men will appear in the upcoming video game adaptation of Street Fighter which is set for release in 2026.
Reigns will play Akuma and Rhodes will be portraying Guile in the highly-anticipated remake of the 1994 classic.
The film is also set to star Orville Peck, 50 Cent, Andrew Schulz, and Noah Centineo.
Roman Reigns could leave WWE for Hollywood permanently
Reigns’ Hollywood aspirations are well-known and many fans believe his permanent move to the screen could be imminent.
The Tribal Chief is currently on a part-time contract with WWE and has not been seen in the company since April.
Ahead of his WrestleMania 41 match, the star suggested he has a couple of years left in professional wrestling.
“After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max,” Reigns told Vanity Fair. “Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment.”
Reigns is expected to return to WWE ahead of SummerSlam in August.
