Details of John Cena’s final WWE match have finally been revealed, and John Cena did not get his wish of location for the monumental occasion.
According to WrestleVotes, Cena’s final match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
Cena’s retirement tour has been historic for WWE, as he has faced the likes of CM Punk, Logan Paul, and Randy Orton in 2025.
However, the star did not get his final wish for location and venue for his final WWE match, as he had previously revealed his wish for a legendary place to retire.

John Cena wanted his final WWE match to take place in London
Cena has performed at some legendary venues on his WWE retirement tour, including MetLife Stadium, Allegiant Stadium, and the Intuit Dome.
The star will also stop off at Boston’s TD Garden and the iconic Madison Square Garden before he steps away from WWE, but the star will not wrestle at the venue he said he wanted to retire in.
John Cena appeared on The One Show (via DAZN) at the beginning of his WWE retirement tour and explained where he’d most like to retire.
The 17-time champion expressed his desire to retire in front of a British crowd in England’s capital city.
“Fans in the UK WWE fans are the best, and fans in London specifically, they will let you know how they feel,” explained Cena.
Cena even had a UK venue in mind for his final WWE match, which is set to take place on December 13th.
The star added: “I don’t think I’ll be able to choose my opponent, but if I can choose a venue, it would be The O2 in London.”
John Cena’s previous appearances at The O2 Arena in London

His last wrestling appearance at The O2 Arena in London came when he teamed with Daniel Bryan to take on Cesaro and Tyson Kidd on an episode of WWE SmackDown in April 2015.
The star has also faced the likes of Wade Barrett, Bray Wyatt, and The Miz for WWE TV tapings at the legendary venue.
Cena has wrestled 15 times at The O2 Arena throughout his career, with his first appearance taking place in 2009.
