WWE fans have criticised Logan Paul’s performance following his match with John Cena at Clash in Paris.
John Cena roasted Logan Paul heading into Clash in Paris despite fans’ disappointment on one of the 17-time champion’s final matches coming against The Maverick.
Cena defeated Paul after a 26-minute match, which was received fairly positively by fans in attendance and at home.
However, one aspect of Paul’s performance has been heavily criticised by fans, leading to AEW star MJF standing up in support of The Maverick.

MJF praises Logan Paul’s Buckshot Lariat after WWE Clash in Paris
Paul hit an awkward-looking Buckshot Lariat during his Clash in Paris match with Cena, which has been mauled online by fans.
“Logan Paul needs to leave the Buckshot Lariat to the professionals,” said one fan on X. “This is f—— shambolic.”
Another fan said: “That was one of the worst clotheslines I’ve ever seen,” while one wrote: “Landing from the ropes was awful. Wade Barrett saying it’s the best he’s seen made me laugh in disbelief.”
“Not much of a Buckshot Lariat,” said another detractor. “You have to use the momentum to hit the lariat. He just did the flip, stopped, then ran forward to do a normal lariat.”
The debate by fans forced a top AEW star to join the fray and speak up for Paul’s version of the iconic move.
MJF uses Logan Paul’s Buckshot Lariat to send a shot to Hangman Page
The Buckshot Lariat is famously used by AEW World Champion Hangman Page, and his current rival MJF used the moment to send a shot at his Forbidden Door opponent.
The pair collided for the World Championship at The O2 Arena on August 24, which was won by Page, but MJF clearly doesn’t want to let their feud go.
Taking to social media to share his thoughts on Paul’s version of the move, MJF wrote: “Way better than the crooked cowboys,” in relation to Page’s finisher.
Page has been using the Buckshot Lariat since his time on the independent scene and became the most famous user of the move when he climbed the ranks in AEW.
