Darren Till has questioned Carl Froch following his Misfits 22 callout, describing how he would have brutally dealt with him.

Misfits has a new crossover boxing star on their hands in Till, who scored an insane knockout win over Luke Rockhold at their last event in August.

He has staked his claim in the crossover promotion with three wins, including two knockouts, since leaving the UFC.

‘The Gorilla’ called out Froch on the night and has doubled down on his offer in the days following his third-round win.

While ‘The Cobra’ responded to his callout, he was reluctant to accept due to his 11 years out of the ring unless he was paid handsomely for the contest.

The former unified super middleweight world champion was already offered the Till fight in 2025, but has not received a new offer following the event.

Liverpool’s own has now spoken out after the response from the Hall of Fame fighter in an interview with IFL TV.

During the conversation, he said: “He’s saying he’s not scared of me and that I don’t bother him, but I don’t know how I see that. Why would you not jump in the ring and want to make the fight big and then obviously that generates more money.

“If you’re talking about fighting me, then you need to build it. You can’t just have me building the fight and you not doing anything and eating an apple.

“Maybe I do intimidate him a little bit because he probably doesn’t know what I’m capable of in that moment… I do think there’s a little bit of intimidation there. I think I intimidate people.”

The former MMA star has been known to lash out during his career in combat sports, as a recent press conference saw him kick a security guard.

Tommy Fury also pulled out of a scheduled bout with the fighter because he was worried that Till would attempt a takedown in the boxing ring.

He was asked what would have happened if he and the 48-year-old squared off, and he gave a brutally honest response.

“There was nothing in my mind that was going to stop me from going for him, leaving the security. I just screamed at them. I was definitely going for him,” he said.

“If he got in that ring, I’d have definitely tried to put hands on him, definitely choke him out.”

While the other half of the Misfits 22 show looks to fight on and make himself a star of the crossover circuit, it seems Rockhold’s stint in the boxing ring and combat sports altogether may be over.

The former UFC middleweight champion has competed in different aspects of combat sports for years, from jiu-jitsu to MMA to bare-knuckle, but the manner of his defeat on 30 August was too devastating to ignore.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, the star was frank in his contemplation of stepping away from active competition for good.

He said: “I’m 40 years old and I can’t be taking shots like that. I want a future for myself, and I’ve got a lot of good things in the works. So it’s around about that time.

“There’s not much left to do. I’ve done a lot in this sport… I compete with the best of the best, but I think it’s time to put the competition shoes on hold.”

A decorated athlete who has won gold in jiu-jitsu contests representing America and being a world champion in MMA, he has nothing left to prove after 19 years.
