Carlos Alcaraz reached his fifth consecutive ATP Tour final at Queen’s, but the Spaniard has more reason to celebrate.
The World No. 2 defeated Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets to set up a final showdown with Jiri Lehecka.
Alcaraz has been box office at Queen’s Club, also toppling Adam Walton, Jaume Munar, and Arthur Rinderknech in London.
His win against Bautista Agut at Queen’s Club marked his 250th win on the ATP Tour, putting him in esteemed company with only star legends reaching 250 wins quicker than the Spaniard.

Only John McEnroe and Rafael Nadal reached 250 wins quicker than Carlos Alcaraz
Alcaraz has been preparing for Wimbledon in some style and looks a safe bet to win his third SW19 on the bounce.
His victory against Bautista Agut secured his 250th win in 311 games on the ATP Tour, putting him third quickest to reach the landmark.
| Player | Matches to 250 wins |
| John McEnroe | 307 |
| Rafael Nadal | 310 |
| Carlos Alcaraz | 311 |
| Boris Becker | 319 |
| Ivan Lendl | 321 |
| Mats Wilander | 321 |
The 22-year-old toppled multiple-time Grand Slam champions Mats Wilander, Ivan Lendl, and Boris Becker, but two other legends reached the feat in slightly less matches.
Only Rafael Nadal and John McEnroe have beaten Alcaraz’s 311 matches, with the King of Clay reaching the landmark in one game fewer.
McEnroe meanwhile, got to 250 wins in four games fewer than Alcaraz, so the World No. 2 is in very fine company indeed.
Carlos Alcaraz hails ‘special’ Queen’s tournament
Alcaraz’s preparation on grass couldn’t have gone much better as he continues his fine form on a grass court.
“I just feel that I’m playing great tennis and feeling more comfortable after each match,” said Alcaraz, after dispatching his fellow Spaniard Bautista Agut on the Andy Murray Arena.
The star then suggested he was reaching his peak potential on the surface just one week before Wimbledon.
The World No. 2 continued: “Making the final here at Queen’s once again is so special, so I guess grass mode is activated.”
Alcaraz will pick up his second Queen’s Club Championship with a win over Lehecka, after winning the tournament in 2023.
