Emma Raducanu has already earned more ranking points in 2025 than last year

Raducanu has picked up more wins in 2025 than ever and it’s helped the British star climb up the rankings.

Raducanu is currently up to World No. 33 in the WTA Tour rankings and looks set to earn a seed at the US Open.

The star has earned 1245 ranking points in 2025, not counting her performances at the Canadian Open, which is already more than last year.

Those points equal more ranking points than her 2023 and 2022 season combined, and she’s just 1108 points away from her 2021 season, which included her incredible US Open success.

With a minimum of 65 points already added for her Montreal exploits, this could be a season to remember for the Brit.

Emma Raducanu’s immediate reaction after Peyton Stearns win

Raducanu was delighted to confirm her place in the third round of the Canadian Open, but she did find room for improvement in Montreal.

“I kind of lost my focus a little bit,” said Raducanu after defeating Stearns in straight sets. “I felt, for some moments in the second set, and she took advantage.”

Raducanu added: “But very happy that I came through against a top opponent and happy to extend my stay here in Montreal.”

The British star’s clash with Anisimova is yet to be confirmed, but it will likely take place on August 1.
