Brock Lesnar finally has a WWE return date after The Beast’s shocking return to SummerSlam after a two-year absence.
Lesnar attacked Cena at SummerSlam after the 17-time champion’s classic main event match against Cody Rhodes.
Cena vs Lesnar will take place at a WWE PLE in September, but The Beast will be appearing for the company before that date.
WWE has finally confirmed Lesnar’s next date in the company, and it’s expected to be on SmackDown.

Lesnar is advertised for the WWE SmackDown in Toledo, Ohio, which is the day before the reported PLE The Beast is supposed to face Cena.
This will be Lesnar’s first WWE SmackDown appearance in years, as he’s mostly been associated with WWE Raw since his 2012 return.
Interestingly, Cena is not currently advertised for the SmackDown date, but he is set to appear on the WWE Raw ahead of it.
How WWE plans to build toward a match between the two men without them appearing in the same room until September 20 is anyone’s guess.
This will be Lesnar’s first WWE TV appearance since August 2022, ahead of his SummerSlam match with Rhodes.

Several WWE stars have pitched to face Lesnar over the years, and there are multiple top stars who have yet to collide with The Beast.
Bron Breakker and Gunther are two of the leading rising stars who could have a certified dream match with Lesnar.
Gunther and Lesnar shared a moment in the 2023 Royal Rumble, but are yet to compete in a singles match.
Other stars who could have a first-time bout with Lesnar are Jacob Fatu, Oba Femi, and Dominik Mysterio.
