Chris Jericho has dropped a further hint about his professional wrestling future amid reports he’s looking to return to WWE.

Jericho has been teasing a WWE return following reports his contract with AEW is set to expire at the end of 2025.

Y2J’s history with WWE runs deep after decades in the company, although Jericho’s return at the Royal Rumble could be in doubt.

Amid reports he’s looking to return to the company where he made his name, Jericho has sent a cryptic message.

Chris Jericho shares ‘contemplation’ amid WWE return reports

Jericho’s return to WWE following a five-year run with Tony Khan’s AEW is reportedly on the cards, with the likes of Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer suggesting the company and star are in talks.

Following several reports about Jericho’s future, the legendary wrestling icon has taken to social media to aid the speculation.

Taking to X, the AEW star shared a picture of himself on a plane with the one-word message: “Contemplation”.

Jericho has not appeared on AEW TV since April when he disbanded his faction The Learning Tree, which features Big Bill and Bryan Keith.

The star has not appeared in WWE since 2018, with his last appearance coming in the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Chris Jericho donates $25,000 to Syko Stu

The professional wrestling world is reeling from Raja Jackson’s unscripted attack on Syko Stu at an independent show.

The son of MMA legend Rampage Jackson put the independent wrestling star in the hospital, and a GoFundMe has been set up in his name.

The fundraiser has earned $135,397 of its $200,000 goal, with several high-profile names adding money to the pot.

One of those is Jericho, who donated $25,000 for the hospitalised wrestling star.
