Seth Rollins and CM Punk’s rivalry has been a focal point of WWE programming since the Best in the World returned in 2023 with the pair using their real-life animosity inside the squared circle.
Punk and Rollins met in the main event of WWE Raw’s Netflix debut as well as at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Rollins has predicted Punk will get mauled by Gunther at SummerSlam, as the two men continue to feud away from the cameras.
However, fans believe WWE: Unreal has shown that Punk and Rollins actually do get on as the show lifts the lid on the company’s backstage matters.

WWE fans think CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ hatred is a lie
Punk and Rollins are seen in WWE: Unreal chatting about the finish to their Elimination Chamber match, which saw John Cena win the bout against Punk after interference from The Architect.
Fans believe the fact that they were having an amicable conversation proves the hate between them isn’t as real as many make out.
“They probably squashed s— behind closed doors like Cody Rhodes and Seth did,” said one fan on social media, while another wrote: “I think they’re civil but I don’t think they’re best friends.”
Another said: “While the early friction was real, I imagine some respect had to come out of working together.”
Rollins and Punk feature heavily in WWE: Unreal, which shows how the company produced this year’s Road to WrestleMania.
What else has been revealed in WWE: Unreal?
WWE: Unreal promised to lift the lid on how the professional wrestling company produced shows behind the scenes and it’s done exactly that.
The Netflix documentary showed a shocking Cody Rhodes pitch about John Cena, as well as Cena explaining his WWE retirement tour.
Elsewhere, the big talking points were some huge axed matches for WrestleMania 41, including Roman Reigns vs Rollins and Drew McIntyre vs Bron Breakker.
WWE: Unreal launched on Netflix on July 29 and consists of five episodes.
