Goldberg called time on his 28-year career at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Goldberg lost to Gunther in his final WWE match, being put to sleep by the World Heavyweight Champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The WWE Hall of Famer was able to speak to the crowd briefly before the NBC feed was cut, but his entire speech was captured by fans in attendance.
Goldberg thanked fans and named his natural successor in WWE as he hangs up his boots after a legendary run.

Goldberg names his son as WWE successor after retirement match
Goldberg has been vocal about his support for Bron Breakker, but he picked another rising star as someone who can follow in his footsteps.
“It’s been one hell of a ride. There will never be another Goldberg,” said the WCW icon before changing his mind.
The WWE Hall of Famer put his arm around his son, Gage Goldberg, and said: “Except for this boy right here!”
Gage Goldberg has been signed to WWE’s Next in Line program, the same institution that first signed Bron Breakker.
The star is expected to make his WWE NXT debut in the next few years after his professional wrestling training.
What else happened at Saturday Night’s Main Event?
Goldberg may have been the main attraction of WWE’s latest NBC special, but there were plenty of talking points after the Atlanta show.
Jacob Fatu and Bianca Belair returned after absences, with the former confronting Solo Sikoa’s new faction and the latter inserting herself into Naomi and Jade Cargill’s clash at Evolution 2.
Elsewhere, Seth Rollins appeared to suffer a legitimate injury in his match with LA Knight, which could have disastrous consequences for WWE’s SummerSlam plans.
Speaking of SummerSlam, a match for the show was announced at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Randy Orton and Jelly Roll will take on Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre at the August PLE.
