Goldberg has suggested there’s only one star in WWE who should be allowed to use the Spear – and it’s not Roman Reigns.
Goldberg is set for his WWE retirement match with Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but he’s continued to throw shade at Roman Reigns.
The pair locked horns in Goldberg’s last match at Elimination Chamber in 2022, a bout the WCW icon has often disparaged.
Now, the star has revealed his true thoughts on Reigns using the move he made famous in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Goldberg says Bron Breakker is the only star who should use the Spear in WWE
Goldberg has disparaged Reigns’ use of the Spear and revealed he believes only Bron Breakker should be allowed to use the move.
“He’s [Bron Breakker] the only human being in the WWE that should be doing that,” revealed Goldberg to SHAK Wrestling.
“I know I’m gonna catch a lot of hell from that, but I don’t care, because that’s the truth. I mean, it is what it is,” continued Goldberg, who seemingly isn’t happy with the likes of Reigns and Edge using the move.
The WCW icon also believes the move became prominent in WWE after he left the company as a sly dig at the star.
“It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out, right?” asked Goldberg. “I mean, let’s be perfectly honest, they did it to make mine look bad, or, you know, to downplay mine.”
WWE fans will get one final chance to see Goldberg use the move as he faces Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.
Goldberg also took the time to rank legendary WWE star’s Spears – and it’s not good news for The Tribal Chief.

In the same interview, Goldberg took the time to name his favourite Spears in wrestling outside of his in the top spot.
Goldberg continued his love for Breakker by putting the rising WWE star in second place, but he also named two other stars who do the move better than Reigns.
