AJ Styles took on Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw in Paris, France.
Styles is incredibly popular in France and the Paris crowd didn’t disappoint for The Phenomenal One at the Paris La Défense Arena.
Styles entered the venue first for his match with Mysterio and the crowd chanted his song for five minutes straight, through several different advert breaks.
Fans were stunned by what they saw as the French crowd completely hijacked WWE Raw for their hero.

The ‘Phenomenal’ song ran through the venue as soon as Styles’ music hit and it didn’t let up throughout the match.
On X, one fan said: “This is absolutely insane. Best f—— crowd in the world. Gotta hand it to France. Unbelievable!”
Another wrote: “This French crowd literally singing for AJ for 3 straight minutes is wild,” while one said: “Paris made AJ feel like royalty tonight!”
Another blown away fan said: “Paris and AJ Styles are a pairing that should never be taken away from us!”
It was a perfect moment for Styles, who has given his all to professional wrestling for over two and a half decades. The star is expected to retire in the next year.

Stephanie Vaquer vs Iyo Sky was set for Wrestlepalooza, while Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker took on Jey Uso and LA Knight.
Elsewhere, Asuka continued her descent in a heel turn, and Penta pinned Xavier Woods yet again after a Mexican Destroyer.
