The first match for WWE’s Wrestlepalooza was confirmed on WWE Raw, but it’s not the two big matches that have been rumoured.

Brock Lesnar vs John Cena is reportedly set for Wrestlepalooza as WWE goes up against AEW’s All Out on September 20.

Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre is also reportedly the plan for the Indianapolis show for the American Nightmare’s first match after his return from filming Street Fighter.

Neither of those matches were announced on WWE Raw, but another match was confirmed for the upcoming PLE.

Adam Pearce finally announced the plans for the vacant Women’s World Championship on Monday Night Raw.

The WWE Raw General Manager confirmed the two women who were owed a shot at the title would collide at the company’s next PLE.

Stephanie Vaquer, who won the Evolution Battle Royal, and Iyo Sky, who was set for a match with Naomi before the announcement of her pregnancy, will face each other at Wrestlepalooza.

This will be the pair’s second singles match in 2025, with both of their previous meetings ending in a no contest.

Wrestlepalooza is set to be WWE’s first PLE since they partnered with ESPN and ended their deal with Peacock.

What else is set for WWE’s Wrestlepalooza?

WWE will likely stack their card for Wrestlepalooza as it’s going head-to-head with their competition, AEW.

Lesnar and Cena will likely main event, while Rhodes and McIntyre is set to be a huge first title defence for the American Nightmare.

Following Becky Lynch aligning with Seth Rollins’ The Vision, it looks like a match between CM Punk and AJ Lee vs Lynch and Rollins could be on the cards.

Rhea Ripley vs Asuka could also be set for the show, with reports surrounding the Japanese star’s upcoming heel turn.
