Brock Lesnar hand-picked two bizarre WWE stars to work with following his sensational debut in 2002.
The Beast Incarnate’s run with WWE is the stuff of legend, including Lesnar shockingly breaking The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak.
The star is back in WWE after an extended absence, with Lesnar set to face John Cena at an upcoming WWE PLE.
Back in 2002, Lesnar’s choice of stars to work with truly shows just how much he understands the professional wrestling industry.

Brock Lesnar hand-picked Spike Dudley and Funaki for WWE matches in 2002
Lesnar made his debut by destroying Spike Dudley on WWE Raw in one of the most memorable introductions in wrestling history.
The Beast hit the star with three Powerbombs as he laid waste to everyone and announced himself to WWE.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Dudley revealed Lesnar hand-picked him and fellow small wrestler, Funaki, to work with after his debut.
“Brock understood if [he] can look like a monster, it’s great,” said Dudley. “He had a good head on his shoulders.”
Lesnar worked with Dudley on four occasions throughout 2002, including a dark match and two WWE house shows.
Lesnar and Funaki, meanwhile, worked together on two occasions in 2002 on WWE Sunday Night Heat dark matches.

The two men will reportedly collide at WWE’s as-yet-unannounced ‘Wrestlepalooza’ in Indianapolis on September 20.
This show has reportedly been set up to counter-program AEW’s All Out and will also feature Drew McIntyre vs Cody Rhodes.
