WWE is bringing an ECW institution back into the fold with their very first Wrestlepalooza in September 2025.
The company is set to go head-to-head with AEW’s All Out, which will be the first time a main roster PLE has gone up against Tony Khan’s company.
WWE is expected to stack the show, with the likes of Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena already advertised.

When and where is WWE Wrestlepalooza taking place?
WWE Wrestlepalooza will take place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 20.
The venue is a legendary professional wrestling arena that WWE has relied on plenty of times over the years.
WWE has brought several PLEs to the venue, including The Great American Bash (2006), SummerSlam (2008), Survivor Series (2012), Clash of Champions (2016), and Fastlane (2023).
Cena has main evented one of those shows, Survivor Series, where he took on CM Punk and Ryback for the WWE Championship in a losing effort.
What time does WWE Wrestlepalooza start?
Wrestlepalooza will start at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and 1 am GMT on both nights of the Indianapolis event.
A pre-show hosted by the likes of Michael Cole, Wade Barrett, and Jackie Redmond will likely air two hours before the event.
How to watch and live stream WWE Wrestlepalooza?
In the United States, Wrestlepalooza will be the first WWE PLE available to livestream on ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming service.
In the UK and internationally, Wrestlepalooza can be watched on Netflix.
How to get tickets for WWE Wrestlepalooza
According to WrestleTix, WWE has distributed 9,192 tickets from a possible 11,189 for the Indianapolis event.
That means there are still currently 1,997 tickets for the September 20 event, which can be found on TicketMaster.
WWE Wrestlepalooza match card
The only match currently scheduled for Wrestlepalooza is the Women’s World Championship match between Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky.
However, it’s heavily rumoured that John Cena will face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza, and Rhodes will return to the company for the event.
Rhodes is expected to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship following their feud coming out of SummerSlam.
There have also been reports of AJ Lee’s WWE return, which could see the star return to the company for the first time in a decade, to be paired with Punk to take on Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

Wrestlepalooza’s origins
Wrestlepalooza were a series of events produced by ECW in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2000 under the tutelage of WWE Hall of Famer, Paul Heyman.
The likes of Dusty Rhodes, The Dudley Boyz, and Tommy Dreamer appeared on the shows, which took place in Philadelphia, Marietta, and St Charles.
WWE’s iteration of the event will be the fifth in history and the first one not to come under the ECW banner.
