AJ Lee’s WWE return has just as much excitement among the wrestlers as it has among the fans.
Several WWE stars called for AJ Lee’s return long before her SmackDown appearance in Chicago on September 5.
Naomi refused to retire before AJ Lee returned, and several other stars took to social media to welcome the icon’s WWE involvement.
Some rising WWE stars, however, have been in love with Lee for well over a decade, and Lyra Valkyria’s post from 2014 is testament to that.

Valkyria posted a picture of Lee with a ‘fan’ in 2014, but the young girl in question is none other than current WWE star Roxanne Perez.
11 years ago, the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion wrote: “AJ with a fan.. The girl looks like she’s about to cry, I know I would! She always has a cup of coffee in her hand.”
Perez is a well-known Lee fan since childhood, but fans couldn’t believe the coincidence of all three stars involved now featuring in WWE.
“It’s kinda crazy how every single person involved in this tweet is now wrestling in the same company,” said one fan on X.
Another wrote: “This blew my mind. What are the chances of all random pictures of fans meeting AJ, she picks the one of her future co-worker and opponent on a PPV!”
Lee is expected to appear on WWE Raw on September 8, meaning this 11-year-old picture could finally be played off between the star, Valkyria, and Perez.

Lee has reportedly signed a multi-year, full-time contract with WWE and is expected to face plenty of stars.
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are not the only WWE stars to have expressed an interest in facing the returning wrestler.
